Monday, May 24, 2004: CMAT supports Student Nursing Team from B.C.
	May 24, 2004: CMAT announced today that it has funded an eight student nursing team traveling to the island kingdom of Tonga in the south Pacific. The nursing students from Camosun College in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada are presently in Tonga conducting health screening projects for diabetes, heart disease, and well woman/child care. CMAT supported the team with a donation of over $6000 worth of medications, and $1500 worth of medical supplies. CMAT helps fund student groups wishing to implement health and relief projects at home and overseas. [Back to top]
